Adminstrative Professionals Conference (APC) Food Drive

Since launching our community outreach effort in 2012, the APC attendees and vendors have made a meaningful impact. In the first year, participants collected 589 pounds of food. By 2015, donations had grown to 1,409 pounds, and in 2019, the conference collected 1,256 pounds, our third highest total. Although the conference was not held in 2020 or 2021 because of COVID-19, attendees have donated 13.392 pounds of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina over 13 years. Thank you to everyone whose generosity has helped us support people in our community.

 

Help Us Reach our 2027 Goal

In 2027, we are inviting attendees and vendors to help us collect more than 1,200 pounds of food for Second Harvest. If you are able, please bring 5-10 non-perishable food items, or any number you wish to contribute, to the conference. Even a small donation can help a neighbor experiencing hunger. View the most-needed food items before you shop. Donation bins will be located at the entry to the Forsyth Barn at Legacy Stables and Events on the day of the conference.

 

Participation is Voluntary

Donating to the food drive is completely optional and is not required to attend the APC. We do not track who participates or how much anyone donates. The food drive is simply an easy opportunity to support our community.
